Parade set for tomorrow

#WORLDCHAMPIONS - Volcanoes Nation, the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, for a third time, are officially part of the Giants World Championship parade. The Giants have asked the Walker family, Rick and Claudia Nelson and our very own Crater to be part of the parade tomorrow. "Tomorrow we represent the entire Volcanoes community who so faithfully support their team," Jerry Walker said. Stay tuned tomorrow night for exclusive pictures.

From Volcanoes President and GM Jerry Walker

On behalf of Lisa, Mickey, myself, and the entire Salem-Keizer Volcanoes organization, we salute another historic World Championship by our parent club, the San Francisco Giants. Seeing so many former Volcanoes players reach the pinnacle of professional baseball is such a source of pride for the entire organization.

What can be said? We've always been proud of our association with the Giants, way before all the successes; this is more icing on an ever-growing cake.

We also want to thank our Volcanoes fans, host families, staff and sponsors for continuing to make Volcanoes Stadium the starting point for so many World Series champions. We look forward to begin the next chapter of this great journey, June 18, 2015, at home against the Vancouver Canadians.
